Job summary

Virginia Integrated Communication (VIcom) in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Network Solutions Engineer to design and deliver complex network infrastructure across WAN, on-premise, and cloud environments. You will prepare technical materials, refine architectures, and respond to customer inquiries while collaborating with Account Managers and other engineers.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of network system administration, project implementation and general IT experience.
• Experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support.
• Professional IT Certifications (Network+, Security+, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, etc.).
• Experience with voice over IP (SIP) and SIP Trunking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver network infrastructure solutions that are technically sound and aligned with customer requirements.
• Analyze legacy network design and modernization opportunities.
• Support virtualization technologies (VMware and Microsoft) and disaster recovery.
• Execute hands-on installation, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure.
