Job summary

OBXtek is seeking a Network Security Systems Instructor to support a US Department of State contract. The role requires clear communication of complex technical subjects to security professionals of varying backgrounds and a strong grasp of NSS disciplines including CCTV, data center management, and cyber countermeasures.

The instructor will deliver 15+ days of training, supervise labs, and assess participant understanding with exams.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate of Science or related degree or equivalent technical training.
• 4+ years of technical skills and experience with NSS disciplines and related equipment.
• Experience with public speaking, delivering briefings, or instruction.
• Instructor experience preferred; ability to mentor and support cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple training topics for at least 15 days of course materials.
• Complete instructor qualification training and demonstrate instructional techniques.
• Deliver hands-on training with practical labs and exams to assess learning.
• Prepare classrooms and labs, set up AV equipment, and maintain training materials.
• Maintain training records and ensure facilities are ready for next course.
