Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 in Hartford, CT to manage complex incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and document findings for preventive action.

You will evaluate client IT infrastructure, design scalable, cost-efficient solutions, coordinate deployments, and drive automation using Terraform and Ansible while ensuring security and compliance across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with F5 Load Balancers, LTM and GTM.
• Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco routing/switching, advanced level.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and document preventive actions.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure and prepare actionable assessment reports.
• Design scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure solutions and document deployments.
• Align release schedules and perform post‑deployment testing.
• Coordinate maintenance, emergency fixes, and upgrades.
• Analyze system performance data and support capacity planning.
• Perform security checks and compliance audits; implement security measures.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Collaborate with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams on requirements.
• Build a centralized knowledge repository from project insights.
