Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 in Raleigh to collaboratively resolve complex IT incidents, assess client infrastructure, and design scalable security solutions. You will ensure secure deployments and maintain thorough documentation across on-site and client environments.

The role emphasizes proactive security checks, automation opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams, while supporting capacity planning and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience configuring, managing and maintaining FortiGate firewalls, including L1, L2 firewall support, IPS/IDS rules, VPN and proxy settings.
• Experience implementing and managing cloud-based security solutions such as AWS/Azure WAF.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to document infrastructure maturity.
• Design scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and develop technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Align release schedules and environment readiness, execute deployments as per protocols, and perform post-deployment testing.
