Senior Network Security Engineer – Transit Systems

We're seeking a seasoned network security professional to oversee and maintain security infrastructure supporting transit-related technologies. This role focuses on ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and operating at peak performance, with particular emphasis on intelligent traffic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and remote access systems
Perform audits, risk assessments, and security incident response
Oversee authentication/access controls and enforce least-privilege principles
Support business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; coordinate with vendors and internal teams
Implement and review security changes and upgrades

What You Need

At least 6 years of experience in network security operations
Strong background in managing and securing infrastructure
Familiarity with intelligent transportation systems and network protocols
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to all audiences
Experience with threat monitoring, incident management, and risk analysis
