Job summary

Tieto is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions, with responsibility for troubleshooting and ensuring performance, reliability, and security. You will work with LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW technologies while supporting customers and on-site engineers.

The role requires 5+ years in network administration, hands-on experience with Cisco/ Fortinet/ Check Point NGFWs, and strong knowledge of L2/L3

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network administration.
• Experience maintaining enterprise firewall environments (Cisco/Fortinet/Check Point).
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking, protocols and TCP/IP stack.
• Hands-on wireless deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VPN solutions and encryption services.
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Automation skills with scripting or IaC tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW environments.
• Monitor performance and capacity; identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide remote support to on-site engineers and customers.
• Stay up to date with network technologies and best practices.
• Translate technical requirements into network solutions and reports.
