Senior Network Security Engineer - DGX Cloud (Finance)

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to design and implement security best practices for on-premise and cloud access, supporting NVIDIA's diverse business verticals such as Graphics Drivers, Autonomous Vehicles, and Artificial Intelligence. This role involves deploying and maintaining infrastructure security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, packet analysis, load balancing, vulnerability detection, and prevention tools. The engineer will lead the implementation and management of security solutions to protect cloud and on-premise networks, support workload scalability, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in multi-cloud services, cybersecurity, cloud-native security practices, and troubleshooting in large-scale networks.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Conduct security audits, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Participate in ACL approvals and security reviews.
• Document security guidelines for on-premise and cloud deployments.
• Enhance security features for better visibility and network intelligence.
• Maintain vulnerability patching and coordinate with security vendors to mitigate threats.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of best practices for securing cloud and on-premise environments, including network segmentation, data encryption, and identity access management.
• Expertise in Fortinet, FortiManager, Arista, and Cumulus.
• Experience with firewall scaling, redundancy, and deployment of policy templates.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity processes such as DLP, IDS/IPS, SSL inspection, Zero Day protections.
• Host network hardening and Zero Trust provisioning experience.
• Understanding of network virtualization (VRFs, VxLAN) and virtualized firewall deployments.
• Ability to collaborate across security teams and understand OSI model threats.
• 5+ years of network security experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OCI, GCP, AWS, Azure cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of Mellanox/Cumulus OS.
• Automation skills using Python, Shell, or Golang; open-source contributions are a plus.
• Experience designing and securing large-scale networks, with familiarity in container and microservices technologies.

The salary range is $136,000 - $264,500, based on experience, location, and market rates. Benefits and equity are included.
