Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant in Chicago to lead end-to-end firewall, NAC, and SASE engagements for enterprise environments. You will design, deploy, and optimize Cisco Secure Firewall, PAN-OS, and ISE across multi-vendor environments, while delivering clear documentation and client-ready guidance.

This client-facing role requires hands-on expertise, strong communication, and the ability to guide complex security strategies from discovery through implementation and knowledge

Qualifications

• 7+ years in network security or security engineering with client-facing delivery experience.
• Hands-on design and deployment of Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD/FMC) and Palo Alto Networks NGFW.
• Experience with SASE platforms (ZIA/ZPA, Prisma Access, Secure Access, Netskope).

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing discovery, design workshops, and architecture reviews for firewall, NAC, and SASE.
• Create HLD/LLD, network diagrams, runbooks, and as-built documentation.
• Deliver day-2 operations training and knowledge transfer to client teams.
