University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking a Network Security Engineer IV (Lead) on-site in Orlando to lead enterprise security architecture, design, and operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in network security engineering for enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, PKI, certificate-based authentication, and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network security services.
• Architect security solutions including firewalls, secure remote access, DNS security, and network segmentation.
• Establish engineering standards, baselines, and best practices for network security services.
• Serve as the senior escalation resource for major incidents and complex security issues.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate complex projects without direct supervisory responsibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable enterprise services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for incidents.
