Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a seasoned network engineer to serve as the Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure across on-prem data centers and AWS environments. You will maintain FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and Akamai WAF solutions, manage Arista/Cisco/F5/Infoblox gear, and develop architecture docs while enabling IaC-driven automation with DevOps teams.

You will also explore AI-enabled automation for security workflows and provide after-hours support during critical cutovers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting production networks across on-premises data centers and AWS environments.
• Experience with firewall configuration, routing, switching, network security, and incident response.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPsec, HSRP, and QoS is preferred.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud networking including AWS VPC and Direct Connect.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for complex network infrastructure, routing, and security configuration issues.
• Maintain security & perimeter solutions including FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and Akamai WAF/Anti-DDoS.
• Manage core network gear: Arista, Cisco, F5, Infoblox; resolve bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and SOPs.
• Bridge Infrastructure and DevOps with IaC to automate deployments and security workflows.
• Leverage automation/AI tools (e.g., Tines, n8n, Dify) for security orchestration and task automation.
• Provide non-office hours support during major live cutovers or emergencies.
