Job summary

RSR Group, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator III to lead network projects, optimize security, and propose engineering solutions across the organization.

You will design LAN/WAN architectures, manage Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, VPN/ZeroTrust, and cloud-based access, and coordinate with vendors.

Ideal candidates have undergraduate degree or 7 years experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Solarwinds, Zabbix, Meraki, and VMware ESXi.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or seven years related experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting cybersecurity products.
• Experience with Network Performance Tuning, LAN Design and Implementation, and knowledge of Cisco routers/switches.
• Experience with monitoring tools SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Zabbix; Meraki and Sophos Cloud a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, Excel/Word proficiency; occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed network specifications and adheres to standards for new scope work.
• Develops strategies for network growth, security, and enhancements across equipment.
• Reviews risk assessments and recommends security improvements.
• Interacts with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products/services.
• Performs network analysis, capacity planning, and testing for LAN/WAN.
• Maintains proactive security awareness and documentation for procedures.
• Maintains and supports Windows and Linux IP-based LANs/WANs and routing/bridging.
• Establishes response drills for staff readiness and security incident handling.
• Monitors firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, and cloud-based access; troubleshoots VoIP issues.
• Solves complex tickets escalated from help desk and supports data center equipment.
