Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. seeks a Network Administrator for the HomeStation Instrumentation Training System (HITS) at Fort Stewart, GA. You will maintain and secure the training networks to ensure dependable comms for US forces and allies during exercises.

Requirements include an active Secret clearance and 8140.03/CompTIA Security+ or CySA at hire, plus hands-on work with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and SIEM monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience related to network administration.
• Must meet 8140.03 certificate requirements and have a Security+ or CySA at hire date.
• Active Secret level Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and secure HITS networks at Fort Stewart, GA.
• Ensure reliable communication across LAN/WAN/SD-WAN for training.
• Implement and manage network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Monitor networks with SIEM tools and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Automate network tasks with scripting and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with SOC and security teams on incident response.
• Troubleshoot routing and VPN issues; optimize bandwidth and data flow.
