Job summary

7Th Sky Technologies LLC in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced Network Release Manager for a 6-month contract. The role requires 5–10 years of network release or project management experience, strong networking and change-management skills, and hands-on deployment planning.

You will coordinate releases, manage schedules, and ensure proper rollback plans while working with vendors and stakeholders onsite from day one.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Network Release Management or Network Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and network upgrades.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers, Check Point, Juniper, Aruba Wi‑Fi, VPN, and proxy solutions.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, SD-WAN, VoIP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with ServiceNow Change Management and ITIL processes.
• Ability to coordinate network teams, vendors, business testers, and stakeholders.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage network infrastructure releases and production deployments.
• Coordinate release schedules, testing activities, and implementation plans.
• Develop rollback and recovery strategies to minimize production risks.
• Manage change requests, approvals, and go/no-go decisions.
• Coordinate with network engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deployment status.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and change management procedures.
• Provide regular status reports and ensure smooth production releases.
