Job summary
Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Performance Analyst Lead to provide systems and data analysis for the AFCENT Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) at Shaw AFB. This is a full-time position with US citizenship and a security clearance requirement.
You will analyze networking metrics, plan deployments, develop reports, and lead monitoring tool implementations to support 24/7 operations. Proficiency with SolarWinds, Netscout, UNIX/Linux, and ITIL foundations is expected, along with
Qualifications
- 5+ years in network and systems analysis.
- Security+ certification or DoD 8570/8140 IAT II equivalent.
- CCNA, SolarWinds Certified Professional and NCA certifications required.
- ITIL v5 Foundations or able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- US Citizenship and Secret clearance required.
- Travel to CONUS sites for TDY; able to support a 24/7/365 environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze networking metrics and detect substandard performance.
- Plan, design, upgrade, and deploy enterprise data center hardware and services.
- Develop reports and trend analyses on bandwidth and security incidents.
- Recommend solutions to resolve or prevent network problems.
- Engineer and sustain network monitoring tools and collect telemetry.
- Coordinate with Modeling/Simulation and engineering teams to prevent overlap.
- Provide LAN/WAN support and TDY travel as needed.
