Job summary

Everforth Apex in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Senior Associate Network Penetration Tester to lead advanced security assessments across diverse systems. The role reports to the Offensive Cyber Operations Team Lead and requires hands-on expertise in testing, reporting, and threat emulation.

You will plan and execute tests, document findings per policy, and contribute to threat modeling and research. Travel up to 10% may be required; onsite work in Tampa is expected.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional penetration testing experience.
• Experience with multiple security testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-115.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated and manual security tests of information systems and analyze findings.
• Utilize threat modeling, threat simulation, and social engineering to assess risk.
• Develop test plans, execute tests, and prepare detailed after-action reports.
