Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Line Haul is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst to own analytics and develop solutions for Network Planning and Forecasting.

You will collaborate with program managers, product managers, researchers, software developers, and business leaders to design the Amazon network of the future. You will produce weekly metrics, perform deep dives for new products, support monthly business reviews with VPs, and build models to forecast metrics for planning cycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots).
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis and data research to identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and improve customer experience.
• Design, develop, and establish KPIs and run complex network simulations for insights.
• Identify data sources and forecasting errors; update plans with improved processes.
• Own recurring and ad-hoc BI projects.
• Develop standardized metrics to evaluate network planning and forecasting.
• Pull and report data from multiple databases using Excel, SQL and other tools.
• Communicate complex insights to stakeholders verbally and in writing.
