Job summary

EXOS, established in 2009, seeks a Sr. Network Operations Engineer to join the Infrastructure (INF) Team and own the reliability and compliance of our network. You will lead firewall audits, patch management, VPN remediation, and automation efforts across our global network.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in network engineering, plus 3+ years in a senior role, with Fortinet, Cisco, or Unifi expertise. Strong security, DR/BC planning, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Audit and Remediation of Firewall Architecture and Rulesets for consistency with our security posture.
• Firewall Patch Management
• EOL/EOS Compliance Assessments across our managed Firewall fleet
• VPN Audit and Remediation, including remote access current settings, best practices, and ideal controls.
• Vendor offering management to ensure we are best utilizing both our vendors and our equipment
• Lead the automation pipelines for auditing and compliancy across our Network architecture
• Analyze network performance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to prevent network incidents and enhance overall reliability, with a concentration on automated responses
• Oversee the implementation of network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, incident reports, and service records
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
