Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer - Tier 3 to support our ECS3 program across multiple locations. The role focuses on standards, design, deployment, and proactive network operations for LAN/WAN, UC, and video services, with travel up to 25% CONUS.

You will craft high-level technical documents, coordinate complex tasks, and deliver implementable solutions. TS/SCI with poly is required or the ability to obtain CI poly before start.

Qualifications

  • IAT II (e.g., Security+).
  • CCNA certification.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI poly or ability to obtain CI poly prior to starting.
  • 10 years of relevant work experience; bachelor's substitution allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Network implementation and installation of technical projects within a site or locale.
  • Facilitating engineering design data calls.
  • Identify and recommend network changes that enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Troubleshooting network failures and accessibility issues.

The Opportunity

The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intel customer across numerous operational locations. Our focus is to transform the organization's technical services through the development of network standards, implementation of industry best practices, and integration of new technology and tools. To accomplish this, the Network Operations team is charged with the development of network standards, network design, implementation of configurations, and operation of systems enabling the customer to complete their mission. Over the life of the contract, the team will drive continuous service improvement through technical modernization of customer LANs, WANs, UC, and video and streaming services.

Responsibilities

As a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer, you will be continuously challenged to solve complex tasks requiring extensive research, teamwork, and creativity. You will design and deliver solutions requiring a high level of coordination and technical ability. You will write high-level technical documents to articulate problems and solutions to an audience of varying technical backgrounds.

In this role, the T3 Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Network implementation and installation of technical projects within a site or locale.
  • Facilitating engineering design data calls.
  • Identify and recommend network changes that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and operations.
  • Troubleshooting network failures and accessibility issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Develop network-related implementation and deployment documentation.
  • Develop network designs that meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead research and testing of new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.
  • Design and implement new solutions.
  • Will require travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
  • May require unpacking, moving network components of average weight and volume.
  • It is anticipated this role will have up to 25% CONUS travel.
Qualifications
Required
  • IAT II (Ex: Security+)
  • CCNA
  • Active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance OR TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI poly prior to starting.
  • 10 Years of relevant work experience (bachelor's degree can be substituted for 4 years; Associate's Degree can be substituted for 2 years of relevant work experience)

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
