Responsibilities

The Senior Network IV&V Engineer leads Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) efforts for our network infrastructure projects. The Senior Network IV&V Engineer applies deep technical expertise in Cisco technologies, leverages strong analytical skills, and independently assesses network designs and implementations to ensure they consistently meet rigorous quality, performance, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities on complex network architectures, including design reviews, configuration audits, and performance validation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive IV&V test plans, procedures, and scripts to assess network integrity, reliability, and compliance.
• Analyze network designs and implementations for adherence to industry standards, organizational policies, and project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with network architects, engineers, and cybersecurity teams to identify risks, recommend mitigations, and validate corrective actions.
• Provide expert technical guidance on Cisco routing, switching, security, and other network technologies throughout the IV&V lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and validate network issues uncovered during testing, providing detailed root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Prepare detailed IV&V reports, documentation, and presentations for technical teams and executive leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster best practices in network validation and quality assurance.
• Stay current with evolving Cisco technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit and compliance efforts by demonstrating thorough IV&V processes and documentation.
