Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Network System Administrator to join the Luke Team. You will support the customer’s data communications network, maintain network hardware/software, monitor availability, and perform maintenance to ensure uptime.

Proficiency in Cisco networks, SDN, and firewalls from AWS, Google, and Microsoft is required. The Luke program provides DevOps, technology investigations, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure lifecycle support for the ODNI.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.
• Experience designing and building enterprise-level network architectures.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production network systems built with Cisco and/or Juniper.
• Knowledge of networking tech and protocols: TCP/IP, Routing (OSPF, BGP, policy-based), Firewalls, SSH, VPNs.
• Knowledge of network management platforms such as Solarwinds.
• Demonstrated understanding of IPv4 networks.
• Experience with network device hardening per industry best practices.
• Knowledge of different operating systems (Microsoft, Unix, Linux, etc.).
• Attention to detail, problem solving mindset, critical thinking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls) ensuring seamless network operations
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, implementing security measures and proactively optimizing network performance
• Monitor and resolve network related service tickets
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and network design documentation
• Setup user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Perform network upgrades to maintain system integrity and overall availability
• Support and administer third-party applications
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure following industry standards
