Job summary

Oracle in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a hardware validation professional to manage the lab, run comprehensive validation across high-speed networking platforms, and drive test automation initiatives. You will own validation deliverables, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and present results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures for 10G–1.6T technologies, performing BER analysis, and improving lab infrastructure for scalable validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on optical transceiver testing or related validation work.
• Experience with optical test equipment (OSA, BERT, power meters).
• Experience validating high-speed data transport (10G–1.6T).

Responsibilities

• Translate component-level requirements into testable acceptance criteria.
• Contribute data on field performance and inventory health to roadmaps.
• Document environmental and operational constraints for site/region use.
