KBR has an immediate opening for a Senior Network Engineer in San Diego, CA, supporting the MUOS program. The role involves supporting the DOORS manager, providing succession and redundancy, and maintaining MUOS scripts, reports, traces, and documentation. The position offers telework and requires a SECRET clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, assess, and test design solutions supporting the ground control infrastructure of the MUOS program.
• Design capabilities for operating systems, network hardware, and software, addressing obsolescence and network device collapsing.
• Serve as a technical expert providing guidance on project teams.
• Demonstrate independent thinking and strong communication skills.
• Collaborate with dispersed teams.
• Travel up to 25% for program support and testing.

Qualifications Required

• 15 years of Network Engineering experience
• 10 years of cybersecurity experience
• SECRET Clearance
• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Red Hat/Microsoft integration
• Knowledge of Roaming Profiles
• Design, verification, and validation of cybersecurity systems
• Requirements analysis
• Cybersecurity and resiliency design for Microsoft environments
• Experience with Border Gateway Protocol

Desired Skills:

• Voice over IP implementation
• SATCOM experience
• CCNP certification
• MCSE certification
• Experience supporting large, complex network infrastructures in cloud environments

Compensation:

Basic: $165,000 - $184,000

Additional compensation may include bonuses, sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, incentives, or discretionary payments based on performance and internal policies.
