Job summary

Fiserv, a global fintech leader, seeks a Senior Network Engineer - VXLAN to design and evolve large-scale data-center networks across multi-data-center environments in Marietta, GA. You will work on underlay/overlay with VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, MPLS, and DR capabilities, shaping critical infrastructure.

You will automate provisioning with Python and Ansible, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to drive network innovations. Travel ~10%.

Qualifications

6+ years designing and supporting complex enterprise or data center networks.
5+ years in multi-data-center or multi-tenant environments.
Strong expertise with BGP and dynamic routing, including complex policies.
Experience with underlay and overlay networks (MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN).
Knowledge of SDN, cloud connectivity, and network automation.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver highly available data center networking and security solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies with proofs of concept.
Architect multi-data-center and multi-tenant networks.
Develop underlay/overlay architectures using BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, VRF.
Automate network provisioning using Python, Ansible, Jinja, APIs.
