Millennial Software seeks a self-starting Mid-to-Senior Network Engineer to support a Government customer in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role covers a medium-sized, multi-enclave network with classification levels, VPNs, and government encryption.

Responsibilities include hardware installation, network setup, incident response, and ongoing architecture evolution. Independent work and strong teamwork are required, with occasional after-hours support and travel.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI with a current full-scope polygraph (clearance active and transferable)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field
• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, including support for classified DoD or IC networks
• Deep routing and switching config, OS upgrades, and network troubleshooting on switches/routers
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPsec VPN tunnels with site-to-site connectivity

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain the client LAN/WAN across a Cisco environment
• Maintain multi-enclave networks with classification boundaries and data labeling
• Deliver end-to-end encrypted transport between sites (VPN, encryption)
• Respond to incidents within established SLAs
• Draft and implement network changes and upgrades, including OS patches and change control
• Support data center hardware installation and RMA coordination
• Keep topology drawings and asset records up to date
• Engage with end-users on site surveys and new equipment installs, with occasional travel
