Job summary

Itezz Inc. in the United States is seeking a Level 3 Telecommunications Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-speed, secure WAN/LAN networks for sensitive federal contracts.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and a strong background in routing, switching, and dataflow optimization. You will work with system engineers and cross-organizational teams to refine requirements, perform security testing, and document configurations.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• 12 years of experience in programs/contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
• IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP recommended certifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies for WAN/LAN design
• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput
• Validate new and existing dataflow and data formats
• Lead large efforts of dynamic requirements and scale
• Coordinate with dataflow organizations and end-customer recipients and understand adverse impacts on system-wide dataflow
• Perform security testing and design evaluations
• Configure interconnects between data centers, networks, and security boundaries
• Draft technical requirements, configuration management, and planning documentation
• Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and maintain network devices including VPN, VRF, VSS, BGP/OSPF, VLAN
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management
• Configure network to connect front-end and back-end components
