Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in network management or related field; additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in network engineering and NGFWs.
• IAT II required.
• Palo Alto Network Security Professional is preferred.
• Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot complex network architectures and solutions.
• Use centralized network management tools to gather statistics, generate usage reports, and back up device configurations.
• Provide technical leadership on major network tasks and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Research and evaluate emerging network technologies, protocols, and applications for potential integration into the enterprise environment.
• Ensure seamless and secure connectivity across all enterprise endpoints.
• Develop automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or Cisco DNA Center.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and DevOps teams to align infrastructure strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for escalations, procurement, and support.
