MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the USPS Mail Processing Network Infrastructure. You will work with a skilled engineering team on architecture, implementation, and security for mission-critical federal IT initiatives.

This role requires extensive network experience, a focus on reliability and security, and willingness to travel up to 90% to locations across the country to support USPS operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years configuring Cisco switches/routers in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, IPAM.
• Experience with SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar packet capture tools.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio.
• Ability to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for USPS Mail Processing Network.
• Configure Cisco Catalyst switches/routers and Layer 2 components.
• Design scalable network architectures for enterprise applications.
• Manage IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols, and network performance.
• Install, configure, and support network security hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot network issues using packet capture tools such as Wireshark.
• Provide Tier 3 networking support for complex issues.
• Develop and maintain SOWs, network diagrams, and technical docs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure networks.
• Support optimization and continuous improvements.
