SAIC in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide Tier 3 advanced engineering support for a mission-critical naval enterprise transport network, ensuring continuous availability, resilience, and scalability.

You will diagnose complex outages, guide Tier 2, design and validate routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and Spine-Leaf architectures across a globally distributed environment, and lead cross-functional troubleshooting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise or provider networks.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II (Security+) required.
• CCNA/CCNP required; CCIE preferred.

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex outages and root-cause analysis.
• Analyze network performance, routing behavior, and security events.
• Lead cross-functional troubleshooting with networks, systems, and security teams.
