Job summary
Robotics Technologies LLC in Edison, NJ is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
The role focuses on routing, switching, security, VPNs, and monitoring tools. You will configure Cisco routers and switches, manage BGP/OSPF, implement ACLs, and ensure high availability.
Candidates should be proficient with Python/Ansible for automation and familiar with SolarWinds, Wireshark, and PRTG.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/RIP).
- Experience with firewalls and network security policy management.
- Experience in data center and cloud networking is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and devices.
- Manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP.
- Configure VLANs, IP addressing, and network segmentation.
- Implement and manage firewall policies and ACLs.
- Configure site-to-site and remote-access VPN.
- Monitor performance, availability, and bandwidth usage.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, packet loss, and routing issues.
- Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and systems teams.
