Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer (Implementation Engineer) to join our Denver team.

You will plan, design, implement, and secure network services while working with DISA STIGs and enterprise policies to ensure robust data integrity and availability. The role requires TS/SCI w/ Poly and extensive hands-on routing/switching experience, with production network responsibilities across Cisco/Juniper hardware.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI w/ Poly and experience in production network operation or design.
• Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, or Brocade hardware and routing/switching.
• Experience implementing STIGs and obtaining ATO for devices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and document designs with diagrams and BOMs.
• Schedule maintenance windows with minimal data-flow impact.
• Provide technical support to operations for fault isolation and resolution.
• Develop secure network designs per DISA STIGs and enterprise policies.
• Supervise (not manage) other network specialists to implement services.
• Improve design processes and design products for efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for enterprise outages across teams.
