Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and optimize DHMS program network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with IT teams to develop policies and troubleshoot issues within the DHMS IT framework.

The role requires 5–7 years in network engineering, CCNP/CCNA preferred, and familiarity with Wireshark and SDN concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
5–7 years of experience in network engineering/administration.
Strong understanding of network principles and experience with Cisco/Juniper.
Proficient in network configuration and troubleshooting using Wireshark.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with problem-solving and communication.

Responsibilities

Designs, implements, manages, and optimizes DHMS network infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
Collaborates with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies and ensure DHMS IT policy compliance.
Analyzes voice, LAN/WAN, wireless networks and network management systems to support services.
Keeps up-to-date knowledge of testing methods, tools, and network documentation.
Applies SDN architecture, network assessments, and automated configurations.
Maintains knowledge of networking hardware, software, standards, and trends.
