Global Enterprise Services (GES) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer focused on routing and switching to engineer, implement, and sustain large-scale enterprise networks. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot core, distribution, access, and WAN edge infrastructure.

Responsibilities include routing policy design, VRF/MPLS, QoS, and high-availability, with hands-on ownership. Expect in-office work at DISA HQ, Fort Meade, MD, with potential remote days after acclimation.

Qualificações

• Significant hands-on experience engineering, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise routing and switching infrastructure at scale.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, spanning tree, VRFs, multicast, QoS, NAT, and high-availability design.
• Experience documenting network designs and procedures; ability to read routing tables and captures under time pressure.
• Current IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE).

Responsabilidades

• Engineer, configure, and implement enterprise routing and switching infrastructure across core, distribution, access, and WAN edge.
• Design routing policies with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routes; manage redistribution, filtering, and convergence.
• Develop network diagrams and implement VLANs, VRFs, multicast, QoS, and high-availability designs.
• Create implementation plans, test procedures, and rollback steps; support change windows.
