DeepMind Technologies Limited in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our enterprise network across on-prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes reliability and security in a fast-growing AI lab.

You will work with C9200/C9350/C9500-32C/PA5500 hardware, automate provisioning with Python/Ansible/Terraform, and collaborate with vendors to deliver scalable network solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, design, and operations within an ISP or cloud/tech environment, working with vendors.
• Experience in L2/L3 testing protocols, TCP/IP, Spanning Tree, NAT, network administration, network architecture, network configuration, WAN acceleration, and project management.
• Ability to develop and implement network automation tools and scripts (such as using Python, Ansible, or Terraform) to streamline operational tasks, provisioning, and configuration management.

Responsabilités

• Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware (C9200, C9350, C9500-32C, PA5500), ensuring compliance and zero user downtime during migrations.
• Integrate new robotic cells into the network, maintain accurate labeling, and document processes, setups, and cell topologies for business continuity.
• Perform root-cause analysis and permanent resolution for complex network incidents, executing device upgrades with thorough pre- and post-checks.
• Build and implement automation scripts and tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Monitor network performance and capacity to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize latency, and maximize throughput in high-availability environments.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $151,000 - $218,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
