Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer for a remote, long-term contract. The role focuses on post-sales engineering implementation across diverse network solutions, including design, staging, configuration, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, IT, CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years with deployment responsibilities involving complex client requirements.
• Post-sales engineering experience with network solutions including requirement definitions and implementation plans.
• CCNP/CCNA or Arista ACE certifications preferred.
• Experience in data center networking and routing/switching including Cisco Nexus/Aci.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales engineering implementation services for network solutions across product and service offerings.
• Assess solution specifications and recommend changes to optimize value for client and organization.
• Prepare documentation detailing system designs and configuration of deployed solutions.
• Coordinate remotely with Smart Hands and Project Managers to ensure clear communication and coordination.
• Develop relationships with clients, ISPs, carriers, vendors to ensure stable product and service delivery.
• Provide technical overview of product architecture and integration with enterprise applications.
• Research market trends to identify best practices and analytics.
• Continuously expand knowledge in operating systems, networking infrastructure and related services.
• Meet financial performance objectives and take corrective action as needed.
• Improve methodologies and processes for deployment engineering to ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain a client-service oriented environment and meet SLAs.
