Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our global Network Services team. You will design, implement, and support network systems across Juniper SDWAN, MPLS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring secure, scalable connectivity worldwide.

The role requires 10+ years in IT with 8+ years in a global enterprise, hands-on Juniper and Cisco experience, and strong routing/switching, BGP/OSPF, and SDWAN skills. Limited weekend work and 20% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
• 10+ years IT experience in network systems hardware/software.
• Must have 8+ years in a global enterprise environment.
• Hands-on Juniper MX/EX SSRs experience with CLI & GUI.
• Experience with Junos, Cisco IOS, F5.
• Excellent knowledge of BGP, SDWAN; OSPF and QoS.
• Experience with Windows and Linux is a plus.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (20%).
• Automation and scripting skills are a plus.
• Network monitoring, deployment, and handover to operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate global network services.
• Lead incident resolution and major outages as Tier-2 escalation.
• Document network architecture and support procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Server and Infra teams for integrated solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain and optimize Juniper, Cisco, F5, and VPN/MPLS environments.
