Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions in Lathrop, CA is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise networking across workplace, factory, and warehouse environments onsite.

You will collaborate with Staff Network Engineers, manage multi-vendor firewalls and switches, and serve as a Tier-1/2 escalation point while adhering to security policies and change processes. This role requires 4–8 years of experience and hands-on scripting to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in mid-to-large global enterprise networking.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (STP, OSPF, BGP) and LAN/WAN concepts.
• Experience with multi-vendor firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) and switches.
• Low voltage cabling and IT room layout experience; circuit carrier troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with protocol analyzers, Git and Splunk; scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives.
• Maintain network solutions across workplace, factory, and warehouse sites.
• Serve as Tier-1/2 escalation point.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to gather requirements and propose network solutions.
• Provision, implement, test, and maintain networking services.
• Adhere to change request processes.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on network service metrics.
• Maintain network knowledgebase and operational run-books.
• Occasional weekend/after-hours/holiday availability; ~10% travel.
