Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a network engineer.
• Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP, subnetting and IP addressing.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls and VPN appliances.
• Familiar with common network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, SMTP.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IDS/IPS concepts and encryption.
• Proficient with routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching (STP, VTP, EtherChannel).
• Experience with network monitoring/troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix).
