Nightwing is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain complex network systems supporting DoD/IC missions. The role emphasizes input to architecture, optimization of dataflow, and coordination across teams to ensure mission readiness.

Applicants should have extensive network engineering experience, a strong grasp of COMSEC handling, and ability to supervise junior staff while aligning with ISO 9000 and related regulations.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant professional experience in network engineering.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's may substitute for two years of experience.
• Five additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with DoD/IC regulations and ISO 9000 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
• Perform configuration, test, deployment, and maintenance of network equipment.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Coordinate with dataflow organizations and end customers to mitigate impacts on dataflow.
• Design, integrate, test, and deploy solutions for various network devices and methods.
• Lead and direct junior engineers and manage work schedules.
