Qualifications

• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification/experience.
• 3+ years network experience in large environments and 1+ year configuring/troubleshooting workstation/server components.
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize switches and routers.
• Understanding OSI model topologies and protocols; knowledge of PM tools/frameworks.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor network engineers.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and maintains network components such as hubs, switches and bridges.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems using analysis tools.
• Plan basic networks and assist in planning complex ones.
• Participate in large project teams; provide task support.
• Lead small projects and contribute to R&D for networks.
• Ensure safe care to patients and adhere to Memorial Hermann policies.
• Promote staff development and act as mentor.
• Model service standards by delivering safe, caring, personalized experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
