Zusammenfassung

ManTech seeks a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and secure LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks at McLean, VA. You will ensure optimal performance and collaborate with IT teams while adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities include configuring network infrastructure, troubleshooting, monitoring performance, and maintaining security measures. Must have active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and be able to travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience, an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in network engineering, administration, or related roles in the customer environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking hardware.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Preferred: ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Aufgaben

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and resolve tier-3 network issues.
• Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement upgrades for uptime.
• Configure and manage network security measures, including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate networks with servers, applications, and cloud services.
• Travel between customer buildings or alternate locations as needed.
• Work in 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
