Job summary

Invictus International Consulting, LLC. seeks a seasoned network security engineer to design and implement enterprise firewall solutions in support of DoD/IC missions.

You will analyze requirements, develop architectures, and ensure compliant, high-availability transport networks across complex environments. The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, DoD/IC experience, and current IAT II and CCNP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in network/security roles.
• Experience with design, implementation, and maintaining enterprise firewall infrastructure (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Ability to monitor and analyze firewall logs to identify security incidents.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP (or equivalent) certifications.
• Experience in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment desired.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration and test plans and documentation.
• Develop risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain QA compliance and meet service performance indicators.
• Review RFCs/CRQs and determine impacts on transport activities with technical solutions.
• Design, implement and analyze complex telecommunications networks.
• Focus on requirements analysis, development and implementation.
• Coordinate issues with owners/organizations and provide recommended actions.
• Create requirement specs and decompose into functional requirements.
• Maintain network architecture diagrams and traceability.
