Job summary

Hyundai Autoever America is seeking a skilled Network Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain our organization's LAN/WAN and wireless networks. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable connectivity, security, and performance across the enterprise.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and hands-on Cisco device management. You will mentor junior staff, document configurations, and participate in capacity planning and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or CS preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a network engineer.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, or major providers.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Cisco DNA, Cisco Prime, Progress WhatsUp Gold, OpUtils, Stealthwatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LANs/WANs and wireless networks.
• Manage network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and issues for optimal UX.
• Collaborate with admins and security teams to implement network security measures.
• Participate in capacity planning and network expansion to support growth.
• Evaluate and integrate new networking technologies and solutions.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and service disruptions quickly.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in networking.
• Ensure Change Management procedures are followed.
• Document network procedures and system configurations.
• Install, maintain, and configure Cisco routers/switches, firewall, VPN, VLANs.
• Monitor/resolve LAN/WAN performance, health, and security issues.
• Perform disaster recovery of network systems.
