Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and manage complex network solutions across multiple sites. This hybrid role involves planning, configuring, and maintaining WAN, LAN, VPN, and security infrastructures while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

You will leverage Cisco SD-WAN, Meraki, and ACI, plus Infoblox, Python scripting, Ansible, and Terraform to automate deployments and ensure robust network performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of network topologies, protocols, and technologies (LAN/WAN/VPN).
• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco SD-WAN across sites.
• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco Meraki and WiFi networks.
• Design, implement, and manage Cisco ACI environments.
• Configure routers, routing protocols, ACLs, and interfaces.
• Manage Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM for efficient operations.
• Use Python for automating network tasks and configuration scripts.
• Use Ansible and Terraform to automate device configuration and deployments.
• Familiar with AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and Google Cloud VPC.
• Experience with GitLab for CI/CD and project management.
• Knowledge of Agile development and product-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and implementation of network solutions.
• Oversee network maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
