Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, STP, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) and routing/switching (Juniper preferred).
• Experience supporting hybrid or cloud-connected networks (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with packet captures, performance metrics, and logs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, segmentation, VPN, and firewall services.
• Operate and support Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Juniper switching/routing platforms (or equivalent vendor experience).
• Build and maintain hybrid connectivity between on-prem environments and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues including routing loops, BGP/OSPF behavior, latency, packet loss, and inter-VLAN connectivity.
• Manage network performance, capacity planning, telemetry, and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain network security practices including segmentation and firewall rule hygiene.
• Support compliance-driven requirements aligned to CMMC and contribute to environments where ITAR or FedRAMP considerations may be present (not core to the role).
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical network escalations.
• Document architectures, change plans, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams in a high-velocity, fast-moving environment.
