A leading consultancy firm in San Francisco is seeking a Network Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining robust network infrastructures across various environments, including cloud. The successful candidate will work to ensure high availability, security, and performance of network services, collaborating closely with IT leadership. Ideal applicants will have a strong background in network infrastructure engineering, extensive knowledge of cloud services, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5-7+ years in network infrastructure engineering with cloud experience.
• Experience in configuring/networking with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of IP routing protocols for IPv4 and IPv6.
• Hands-on experience with major networking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage both physical and virtual network infrastructure.
• Administer and optimize LAN and WAN connectivity, including MPLS and SD-WAN.
• Architect and manage Azure network infrastructure including VNets and VPN Gateways.
• Implement security best practices and monitor network performance using tools.
