Andromeda is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale GPU fabrics for AI compute clusters. You will own the compute fabric, storage networking, and cabling, collaborating with the cluster architect and on-site deployment teams. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure.

Responsibilities include fabric bring-up, performance testing, and day-to-day troubleshooting, plus building automation to ensure consistent, scalable deployments across multiple sites.

Competenze

• Experience designing InfiniBand/RoCE fabrics for large GPU clusters.
• Hands-on deployment and bring-up of networks in data centers.
• Experience with automation and validation tooling.

Mansioni

• Design and bring up compute fabric networks for GPU clusters.
• Plan and validate storage and front-end networks capacity and interconnects.
• Create cabling plans, optics BOMs, and labeling standards.
• Fabric bring-up, performance testing, and sign-off for acceptance.
• Provide Day 2 support and escalation for fabric issues.
• Develop automation tooling to standardize builds across sites.
