Andromeda Cluster is seeking an on-site network engineer to design and bring up compute, storage, and front-end networks for large GPU clusters. You will collaborate with the Cluster Architect and deployment engineers during validation, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure.

You will own compute fabric design, participate in NVLink integration, develop automation, and craft labeling standards across sites. This role offers a challenging, high-trust environment with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Hands-on design and bring-up of InfiniBand or RoCE fabrics for clusters of 1,000+ GPUs.
• Experience with NVIDIA UFM and switch operating systems like Cumulus or SONiC.
• Python and Ansible automation skills, plus practical knowledge of optics and high-density cabling.

Mansioni

• Compute fabric with InfiniBand (NDR, XDR) and Spectrum-X Ethernet, including rail-optimized topologies and NVLink domain integration.
• Storage and front-end networks, cabling plans, optics BOMs, and labeling standards.
• Fabric bring-up, NCCL and fabric performance testing, troubleshooting, and automation templates.
