Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support network operations and projects for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
2. Conduct testing of network systems.
3. Maintain expertise in network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
4. Develop technical solutions for complex problems.
5. Contribute to program and project completion.
6. Work independently and determine approaches for complex issues.
7. Represent organization in technical meetings and briefings.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications (Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree in communication or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years’ experience with large-scale enterprise networks.
• Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification.

Desired:

• Cisco Certified CCNA, CCNP, CCDP or equivalent.
• Experience with Network Management tools like Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Prime.
• At least 1-year managerial experience.

Skills:

• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of VPN Technologies and routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco routers/switches and network documentation.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work weekends and independently.
• Experience with Wireshark and packet capture analysis is desirable.

Additional Skills and Requirements:

• Experience with USCENTCOM environment and troubleshooting Cisco ACI networks.
• Manage and support Cisco ISE solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Travel up to 10% to OCONUS locations.

The salary range is $89,250 - $120,750, based on experience and location.
