Job summary

VTG Defense in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support mission-critical operations. You will perform advanced network engineering, mobile forensics, and WebRTC/VOIP support while maintaining a secure network infrastructure.

The role requires a TS clearance, a Master's degree or equivalent experience, and at least four years in network engineering and mobile forensics, with CISSP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with a Top Secret clearance.
• Master's degree in an applicable field, or equivalent technical experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of four (4) years of applicable network engineering experience, including use of Wireshark for network troubleshooting and packet analysis.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing forensic extractions and analysis on mobile devices using commercial forensic products.
• Working knowledge of WebRTC, including NAT and firewall traversal technologies (STUN, ICE, TURN).
• Knowledge of VOIP and related protocols.
• Active CISSP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced network engineering and troubleshooting tasks using Wireshark for packet capture and analysis.
• Conduct forensic extractions and analysis on mobile devices using commercial tools.
• Apply WebRTC NAT and firewall traversal knowledge (STUN/ICE/TURN).
• Support and troubleshoot VOIP systems and related protocols.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and applicable certification standards.
