Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in network or systems engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Windows server administration, VMWare, Cisco networking.
• Ability to modify operating systems and support software as needed.
• General insurance terms knowledge and business function familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resource utilization and evaluate system needs to recommend changes.
• Assist with capacity management and report significant findings to management.
• Ensure data availability and proper security for authorized users.
• Install and maintain systems software and resolve problems efficiently.
• Develop interfaces between multiple operating systems and applications.
• Resolve complex hardware/software problems promptly and effectively.
